yep, works as advertised. And Coherence is pretty amazing looking/working. Still not sure about the windows task bar just sitting there on top of the dock-but i saw someone else had pushed it to the top of the screen instead.

The obvious solution I didn't even realize: you can manipulate the start bar like you would within Windows. If you want to auto hide it or move it to the top... just do it normally.
