Jay has 15-16 years of late night and his ratings as host are better than Conan's doing his own show. That's what matters. Hell, if Conan's ratings were better than Jay's NBC would have fired Jay instead of the "host in 5 years " plan. Why do you think NBC hired Jay to do his own show, because Jay was the king of late night. This is fact. Fiction is this bs that Jay is the Illuminati and has stolen the show. Any new host of the Tonight Show would be the fall guy because Conan deserved the show in your eyes. Well, Conan had the show but he quit. Thing is Conan's audience wasn't watching. This what's bugs me about this whole thing. If Conan's audience spent more time actually watching the show and buying products advertised and less time flaming Jay, we wouldn't be having this conversation.Conan's problem wasn't time it is his audience! Now, he's taking a chance that FOX and it's affiliates will give up all the ad dough from their late night re-run schedules. So when FOX looks at his ratings what will they think after only being on 6 months?
