io9.com — The most frustrating thing about "The Gungan General" was that you could, if you squinted a bit and filled in a lot of gaps for yourself, see what they were trying to do with the episode - A lighter, more broad version of the traditional Star Wars rogue-and-rescue formula played for laughs.

Never understood why they put his annoying ass in the movie.

In the episode bombad jedi, he almost died and C3P0 was in danger most of the time because of him.. LUCKILY everything was fixed during that time and the only thing they needed to do is wait, then go home...then he accidentally destroyed their ship...*insert more accidents*but in the end he kinda solved their problems with the help of his new friend... a big sea monster...

The only thing worse than Jar Jar in this episode was the terrible Jar Jar impression by the voice actor.Seriously guys, if you insist on having Jar Jar get Ahmed Best to do the voice. My 4 year old son could tell the difference.

The Clone Wars (TV episodes, not movie) have been much better than expected overall and worth giving a shot. For instance, even in the cheesy episode referenced here, one of the 'bad guys' (no spoilers) says to another, "Kill this thing, he's a plague" after Jar-Jars bumbling. If you see it, you'll understand.
