They are also trying to implant an implication that the subprime industry is somehow bankrolling Obama's campaign

You haven't been listening to Obama's speeches or the debates. Every time the immigration issue is raised, he says the first thing that has to be done is to secure the border. And in every one of his stump speeches he affirms his commitment to the Constitution, to restoring habeas corpus, etc, reminding people that he "taught the Constitution [for 10 years at U of Chicago], respects the Constitution and will obey the Constitution." This consistently gets the largest applause in his speeches and is one of the reasons many people support him.

Yeah, it's campaign spin to dismiss it, just as McCain's one-line response was. But also: as is usually the case, Obama's big-picture vision is so far beyond Clinton's capacity that she can do nothing but try to bring him down to her level with a "where's the beef" charge. (Even though he outlined a 5-point plan or whatever.) Hopefully, though these speeches don't get any media play, those who take the trouble to watch it will see and hear what he's saying.

So her campaign says that what Obama has said about the economy are "just words" and what she has said are what? LIES?. The Clinton campaign really believes that the American people are stupid and will believe and go by anything her campaign says or claims! What arrogance!Well, the good thing is that there are enough intelligent Americans out there to make sure the best candidate gets the votes and wins the election. There are enough smart Americans who know that the only intelligent choice for the White House is Barack Obama.
