I think the people who don't see anything wrong with that graph still haven't figured out that ladders don't exist for them to climb up anymore. You are never going to be the CEO no matter how hard you work.
Spartan777, is that an Azereus Vuze logo you have there?...fancy that, a thief complaining about thieves.Rich people are rich because they're smart about handling money and you have a bunch of s**t on your computer because you're good at handling torrent trackers and stealing media, but what about all those people who made the commercial form of that media? Are you not standing on their shoulders taking their hard work for free? Fact is; the rich are smart people who know how to manage their money; that is no crime. If you're a minimum wage worker, get your ass in gear and think about how you could get out of your situation rather than just daydreaming about what you would do with a billion dollars.
"If the board of those companies think that those CEOs are worth those millions, it's their prerogative."The boards are normally made of C-Levels from other companies, who are on the board of their company. It becomes a big circle jerk. Shareholders have next to no power as electing the board is done on proxy and if you don't got to the place for the voting on those ballots, your vote is a vote for them. So, basically, unless you can afford to fly to Tahiti where these election meetings are, tough turkey.
The last company I worked for had 1 foot in the grave already, the stock was below 5cents and was getting warnings of being delisted (for not having sufficient board members). Yet the CEO paid himself a 1.5million dollar bonus that year. Yea, you really earned that buddy.
If we can pass laws requiring minimum wage than why can't we pass laws requiring a maximum wage? I realize being the CEO of any company is very stressful, but no level of difficulty or workload should entitle someone to an annual salary thousands of times the size of their average employee. That is just ridiculous.

Which slowly turns us into a third-world nation.I fully expect to see the USA devolve into the world's only Christian theocracy in my lifetime.

It's not about what you know, it's about who you know. So get out there and meet people!
