There are a lot of people who feel that draconian measures are needed to address climate change. Out response should be commensurate with what the reality is, and right now that reality is in question.

@RentalCanoeThink for a moment. If there was a natural warming trend, each subsequent decade would be warmer. What there needs to be is a direct tie to CO2 emissions to the rise in temperatures. Yet with CO2 emissions in the last 10 years being higher at any point in history we see no significant warmth at all. Based on the CO2 forcing that the IPCC and AGW proponents believe we should have seen a "significant" amount of warmth over the last decade. We have not.
