From what I see, it seems like everyone on digg is convinced that global warming is true. Dissapointing to see an online community I would consider somewhat intellectual being close minded by refusing to consider that they are wrong.

Um, have you read these comments? And 'we' have nothing to gain from being right about global warming, just a depressing and difficult problem. I actually thought it was a load of bulls**t until I was assigned a research paper on the subject a few years back and went through about 20 peer reviewed articles on it. Try JSTOR. It's NOT easy to make a claim one way or another, I'm not going to insult your intellegence by giving you a 1-3 sentence argument on the internet when it's just not sufficient.

I assure you these "Lords of Carbon" will rape the producers and the consumers of carbon. They will spread misery to the rich and the poor, to the developed nations and the developing nations.
