infoworld.com — Apparently, Cisco has not released source for the iPhone that was based off GPL code. The Cisco iPhone is linux based. A bit of a double standard to go after Apple for trademark infringement, yet doing copyright infringement of its own.

HahahaHellmark, I'm starting to wonder if they're getting dumber just to spite you for having to explain the same obvious point over and over.

No, just people are too ignorant and lazy to bother reading, or paying attention.

Hellmark, So why is Apple copying Linux onto their Iphone without releasing the source? Isn' t it supposed to run OSX? What does Cisco have to do with all this mess? /lol

Maybe it wasn't funny. Maybe I have had enough with people trying to be humorous.

"Apparently, Cisco has not released source for the iPhone that was based off GPL code. The Cisco iPhone is linux based. Apple company in the UK was a company that archived beatles albums, and it was not until recently that Apple in the US fought them in court for their name. I think that would be considered a real double standard in relation to what is going on to the iPhone.

This has nothing to do with Apple. This is about a Cisco made Linux based device that does not have the source made public, despite the GPL stipulating that they have to. I said it was a double standard, because Cisco wants things to be fair and legal on some things, but only if it benefits them.
