Fasting can be full or partial. There are juice fasts, water fasts, broth fasts. This isn't new. In fact, fasting is a fairly old practice with many derivations. This is obviously a confusion of terminology. Unless, I suppose, she declared the exact details of her fast, and then violated those terms, then made a claim that she was still and had currently been adhering to those terms. Person A: "I have decided to do something."Person B: "What you have done isn't what I assumed you meant by 'something.'"Person A: "Suck it, Trebek."
Well, I don't want to go down the route of accusing the Digg administration of being somehow manipulating things. I like Kevin/crew too much to start doing that. I just want to know the details about how a story gets buried, what is the percentage of "buries" that it needs opposed to the percentage of diggs, you know, things like that. And I suppose we can just voice our opinion about anti-conservative/anti-bush trash stories by burying their junk stories like they're burying ours. That's what digg is all about, right?
@danielwsmith : I do believe you are on to something. I recommend you start browsing one anothers' friends lists, and then digg and comment histories, to get an idea whose posts you care to be notified about. I found bonchbonchbonch's profile to be a useful place to start... *chuckle!*
For gods sake people this woman lost her only son. I don't know where people get off criticizing her so harshly when she LOST HER ONLY SON.The most you people have lost in this Iraq war is tax dollars and maybe gained an additional $0.50 per gallon on gasoline. As far as I'm concerned, families of war dead can say whatever the hell they want about the government good or bad. You guys need to learn some compassion.
I suspect I speak for many when I say that I do feel compassion for all parents and loved ones of those who gave their lives in Iraq. In Mrs. Sheehan's case, however, it is SHE who disrespects her son and those others lost in Iraq by her actions. She deserves our indignation for her willingness to be duped by those who would acquiesce to any enemy.
Cindy lost her son when it totally ignored her and signed up for a second hitch. Since about 6 months after meeting with a cordial President Bush she has become a tool of the far left wing kooks, and Michael [fat pig] Moore. Her only claim to fame is her willingness to tread all over her sons marker less grave in order to be heard. If liberals really were so compassionate they would get her professional help instead of using her to further their political goals. My question is why didn't Mooing Moore join in on her 'fast'? My doctor buddy tells me that it would have been hazardous to his health due to all of those pesky fats.

Well, maybe she can at least last as long on her fast/hunger strike as Saddam did: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4754662.stmThey've probably been comparing notes...
