"Taking away entitlements stinks." No, dear--UNIONS stink. This story says that workers are unhappy b/c the other hotels in the area pay more, have better benefits, etc. Well, GO WORK FOR THEM, if you like them better. If you can't work for them, then be happy with the job you have until you CAN go work for them. This is why Unions have no place in modern society. They are not concerned with providing a SAFE work environment and FAIR wages for a DAY'S work. The union bosses are paid by the union to get as greedy as they can get or threaten the management/owner to walk out. THEY ARE UNAMERICAN and should be abolished. Unions in our state still cause ALL KINDS of problems. I want to be paid based on my own personal work merits, not on what the guy next to me produces. Unions foster mediocrity and dependence.

You're right unions may sometimes become greedy, but overall they are there to ensure that the common worker gets all of their basic rights.
