thinkchristian.net— Several thought provoking Christian parodies of the "Hi I'm a MAC... and I'm a PC" commercials. There's a good discussion on it too. Enjoy.

@AJH16Although I think I might understand your point about redefining your faith or movement as a "relationship" rather than a religion, I think the word "relationship" is not the best to use. When people say they have a "personal relationship with JC," what does that mean? Do they see him? Talk to him? Hear him? Hang out with him? IM him to find out what's going on Friday night?I am not trying to be disparaging towards you in any way, I am sincerely asking.
Hmm... My comments:1) Won't load for me2) I think Jesus would rather me go to church in a Tshirt and Jeans and give ~$200 to starving children or a homeless shelter than spend that $200 on a set of 'sunday best' clothes.3) There's no reason to listen to an exclusive genre of music.
I think essentially the jist of the videos is this:"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." James 2:17Basically claiming and believing you are a follower of Jesus, should result in some action and positive results.Easier said than done but it is a good reminder for those of who talk the talk...
My brother in-law is the "Mac" ....and he uses an IBM laptop;) His brother is the "PC"..last I knew he used a Dell Lappie. The Church they WORK for really is non-judgmental and about as fun as church could be. Not my cup of tea but really great for those looking for ways to increase their quality of faith. To the commenter questioning the e-donating legitimacy...I can vouch that these fellas are not rocking around on Gods dime pushing Mercedes on 20 inch rims whilst bling-ing heavy Diamond encrusted gold crosses. Your idealistic approach to spreading a message, be it religion based or or anything else, without some sort of monetary backing just doesn't apply in the real world my friend. Real world, real hurdles. Personally I like this video they did better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L96GSqfhFnQ ...and no he didn't slip me any over the holidays.
ONLY by immersing ourselves in Christ and His love do we eventually gain the ability to overcome our vices.... Us trying to stop sinning is counterproductive and only makes us sin even more.No one is justified before God except Jesus Himself, so it is by us "Christians / Christ Followers/etc... realizing that we are helplessly addicted to sin and our need for Christ to be our righteousness... it is then that we realize the true love and forgiveness of God that we have through having trust in Christ as our only means to get to heaven... not by anything we can do with our own efforts! But many "preachers" teach that we must follow the 10 Commandments, which only show us our guilt and keep us separated from God... thereby keeping us away from God even more so!Get to know Jesus, emulate Him and talk with God as a Father / Dad... casual conversations. Then you will experience the truth of God that so many people miss out on. Faith, hope and love.... NOT our efforts to be good is what God desires!
