I think you should talk to some Missionaries and see if they really are preachers or teachers. You could get out a video camera and put it on YouTube if you want. Here is a link:http://www.mormon.org/mormonorg/eng/ask-a-question ...

Does this seem to anyone like it could be translated in a large number of different ways? Including the Bible... depending on how you are feeling that day...

Atheists, by definition, lack a belief in god(s). This does not mean that they believe that there is no god(s). All it means is that they lack belief. In other words, you're wrong.

Mormanisum is an institution, it is not a belief in God.

@ StringstrokerThere's nothing wrong with mormonism, it's just as valid as christianity. But what agnostics and atheists realize, is that theism itself is ridiculous. It's nothing personal against mormonism. :)

hockeypaul, just for some interesting thought, check out Deuteronomy 4:2... Does that mean that everything after the books of Moses should be thrown out? Christ certainly had a lot to add to what had been written in the Old Testament...

What cracks me up about a Christian zealot like himself is that he's so hypocritical. He talked about the others getting upset, he was just as upset. He talked about the others trying to dominate the conversation. The only one talking was him! He couldn't shut up his preaching and judging long enough to listen to another side of the story. He said he wanted to have a "discussion" yet his views were one-sided. This wasn't a search for knowledge or sharing, this was a blatant attack on someone else's beliefs. He picked out easy targets. I'd love to have a discussion with him about Christianity. He blindly follows a book written by translators of hundreds of year old stories that were handed down. So why should he attack another who blindly follows a different religion. Retard.

BenBFree - WELL SAID! Too much intimidation, not enough sincere search for understanding and coming to a common ground. There is no way to battle belief against belief. But discussion can alter perception.
