There are about 2 billion Chinese. Even if only 150,000,000 (1/2 the population of the U.S.) have blogs each of them could make more than one blog. It is improbable that the Chinese Govt actually be able control their "interNetizens" completely. They must be using fear to control the people because that seems like the only way they could really control the freedom of ideas on the Internet.

@elamr free speech is definitely something US has over PRC I admit you are right .and as you say: It is improbable that the Chinese Govt actually be able control our speech on Internet.(because there are numerous people ).Actually,We Chinese people(not Chinese Govt ) have a lot sense of humor. We often take our national leader for joking.LOL:-).We cannot say "f**k hu and his Administration!" on newspaper but we can say this on internet and daily life:-)And actually people here aren't care of any f**king ideology(that's Govt affair!)We only care about how can we have a happy and peaceful life! wish you good luck:-)
