Do NOT post a comment on someone's story asking them to Digg yours (that's what shouts are for). It's tacky, frowned upon and you WILL be buried. Now that that's out of the way, excellent story. I unfortunately was aware of this initiative in Arkansas...As you said, I had always thought that a family was defined as people who loved and supported each other, but apparently those on the other side don't agree. It's incredibly depressing.

Exactly, when it comes to human rights - democracy doesn't work. It's ridiculous that these types of things are even being voted on. The majority will always win, despite whether it's right or wrong.

Jesus told them not to let kids be adopted by homosexuals.... but apparently didn't tell them to adopt the kids themselves. With the number of kids needing foster care/adoption so much higher than the number of homes available, why would you pass a law to make the number of potential adoptive parents even lower? It's not like those "god-fearing" bible thumpers are adopting...
