Probably another steroid abuser. Steroids cause a thing called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which leads to cardiomegaly (an enlarged heart). Don't believe me? Google it to see for yourself.I will never feel bad for steroid-abusing (or any drug abusing) players, nor convicted criminals who still play (when they should flipping burgers instead). I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but if the reports come back positive, then it'll be his own fault and there will be no sympathy from me.
To all the idiots saying he was on PEDs or Steroids..... Have you ever even seen Gaines Adams? Because he was as skinny as a twig compared to the other D-linemen in the league, I highly doubt he was on Roids or PEDs
Gaines touched the lives of every one who had the pleasure of knowing him. He wasn't your NFL diva with an entourage, he did things the right way. All of this coaches at Clemson couldn't speak enough about what a hard worker he was, especially in the gym. The guy played 8-man football in highschool for goodness sakes! Talk about overcoming adversity. As someone who went to college with him, or someone who is just humane, it really makes me sick to see these people dumping on him.

Yeah, I'm sure it's steroids. It's not the fact that this guy weighs nearly 300 pounds.

The fact that he got to the NFL in the first place is more than enough evidence for me.
