yeah, what else are we the best at? hm.. oh yeah, everything! don't be sad, with time, dedication and hard work, you too can become an american citizen!
Ugh, all of the Kobayashi fans are rejoicing about how he was "truly victorious" because of his "hurt jaw........." Yeah freaking right. He ate 10 more damn hot dogs than last year! If his jaw was truly "injured," he wouldn't have been able to even eat that many. Such BS.Just an excuse to use for when he lost. And he lost, and the excuse is working. Joey Chestnut rules.
I think he was referring to the fact that we have no good shows like NW here in America. We have Hot Dog Eating and American Idol. They have strange shows with human tetris, dudes getting whacked in the nuts for missing questions on game shows and cool stuff like ninja warrior. Why don't we have that stuff here? SERIOUSLY WHY!?!?!
I am guessing that they didn't DQ his ass because he re-ate what he "reversed" even though it was all over at that point.[Edit: why did he eat his "reversal" anyway?]
Without a doubt, both competitors performed very well, and as is usually the case in competition, the best man won. Regarding the "injury" of Kobayashi, I'm not sure that an extracted wisdom tooth really qualifies as such. Had one myself a few years back and I was eating normally the next day. If Kobayashi was really affected by the injury, it is quite impressive that he beat his old record by 10 dogs. My hat's off to both of these guys, it really made it fun to watch.

Takeru Kobayashi is a legend. Thanks for 6 years of reminders of why we should all hate ourselves for having food to spare.Congrats to Mark Chestnut.
