they might be skinny, but I would still worry about their cholesterol and blood pressure. I saw some documentary about Kobayashi and the grossest part was how he described smelling like hot dogs for days after the competition.

Straw man. You've picked one event which uses more food, and claim that makes it worse. Eating contests glorify the behavior, and validate it as normal. Regarding the amount of money the players get: I'm glad you're coming around to socialist ideals. Waste and greed are of no benefit to society.
