chessbase.com — Vladimir Kramnik got caught off-guard today by a mate-in-1 move that he missed on the board. No, he was not mating the machine. Machine had the opportunity to do so and it did as machines rarely miss these chances. Kramnik now trails in this match and heading towards defeat!

This is probably one of the most amazing blunders in world class chess. Professional players, let alone world champions, simply do not make mistakes like these!!

I would expect myself to blunder like that Against Fritz, but the so-called world champ? As far as I remember, Kramnik gave Topalov an opportunity like that in 2-nd game of his match up too, but Topalov missed! Had he taken it, he would have been here fighting for it.
