Cheney (and the previous administration) had 7 years to 'do what it takes to win' in Afghanistan. It's patently obvious that he doesn't know what that is.
Then thank you for your service. Where did you serve? When? I ask because if you have been to Afghanistan, I would like to know if you think sending more troops is a good idea and why, or why not. Having not served in the military, I don't know if it is a good idea or not, so I do not think I am in a position to call the President a coward. I am really not trying to be s**tty to you, but I am tired of people like Cheney saying we need to spill more American blood when he isn't willing to spill his own. Do you think Cheney would be for more troops if he himself had to go with them? Since you have served in the military, your opinion on the matter is of interest to me. Also, do you think it is a good idea for the President to wait to make a decision until after the Nov 7 run off so that the Afghan population has a legitimate government that the US can work with?
Yes, stop dithering like he did over whether Iraq had WMD's, since he knew where they were they certainly must have them!!! And just send troops out to death and injury and a multiplicity of deployments and convince the States the their National Guard are needed on matters of urgent national defense too. Then go back into the bunker and sit out the war in absolute safety as a critical component of our national paranoia.

The old man is right. Obama is a coward and looks at the polls more than the actual facts. We have brave patriots dying. Make a choice you coward.
