thinkprogress.org— "Once safely ensconced in Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, however, Cheney appeared to reserve his toughest language for his normal target -- the press."

We went to war to free the people of Iraq from oppression. His comments are a form or oppression. We went to war so that they can gain the same freedoms we have in AMERICA, and one of the figure heads of the GREATEST FREE COUNTRY in the WORLD, wants to take away freedom of the press, or suggest the use of force in order to censor what news gets out. What is wrong with us, how much more will we take before forcing these IDIOTS out!
AHAHAHAHAA AHAA AHAA AAHAHA AHAHAHAYou so funny.Did I say funny? I meant dumbf**k.WWII grunts included millions of liberals. You can bitch about "losing" Vietnam, but you can't hide the fact we were there because if we didn't fight the Commies there, we'd fight them in Kansas. We quit fighting them in Vietnam, they took over for a while, and never once did it threaten US security on a global or domestic basis. Iraq is much the same as Vietnam in this: conservative fearmongering gets our good and brave troops f**king killed and gains us nothing.Harry Reid? You are a f**king joke. Bush has played into Al Qaeda's hands all along, and now they - the real Al Qaeda No. 2, not the fake ones BushCo captures ever couple of months - was just bragging how well our presence in Iraq serves Al Qaeda.Maybe when you get out of your mom's basement and, oh, I dunno, read a f**king newspaper, then you'll have something to say. But I doubt it.
Please digg me a grave 100 negative comments deep. I can no longer stand the immaturity of posters. This isn't about good/bad or left/right, or whatever. My beef is that I am embarrassed reading the thoughtless howls of non-thinkers. Is there a political-kin to hackers' script-kiddies?Anyway, I am leaving forever, but I wanted to give you all something to flame about as I go.
Blows me away how Cheney, having never served in the military, can advocate our troops staying in Iraq, when he himself is unable to muster up the courage to show up there except on unnanounced, secret visits. And then he goes and blasts their congress for taking a 2 month vacation. What, will they be staying at the same Club Med as *our* Congress during their summer recess? Of course, the Iraqi government has a lot of urgent issues to deal with. But so does ours. Oh, and since in his capacity as Vice President, he is President of the Senate, will he be partaking in the Senate's summer recess too?
Also, Cheney has 0 stock in Halliburton. The only connection he has is a deffered compensation package for when he left the company. Saying that Cheney still owns Halluburton stock is pure misinformation.

I don't necessarily side with you politically, but I'm definitely with your method. People all sit around and complain. Do something!

Just buy the press, just like in America.

Time broke the story about the emails concerning Cheney greasing contracts for Haliburton a while ago. <a class="user" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1228622,00.html">http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1228622,00.html</a>
