thinkprogress.org — During his speech at the National Press Club today, the moderator gave Cheney a chance to apologize. ?Do you wish that you had answered that question differently?? she asked. ?Does it matter if the public disagrees sharply with the wisdom of the war?? Cheney instead made up an excuse about his initial comments.

I don't see a question mark at the end of that question. I think my response would have been "So....?"Also, Thinkprogress isn't a biased source for news.

"Why? Because the government ANSWERS TO THE PEOPLE. They are not some entity that we are beholden to, but rather a power that we as the people grant to government to serve our interests."Not serving the interests of the people is a good reason. Being unpopular is not. Huge difference. "When they cease to serve our interests and serve their own by making war and pillaging our hard earned wealth and goodwill, they have become worse than terrorists. They have become greed-filled traitors."Sure, like I said, there are lots of good reasons to be against the war. The fact that now 2/3 are against it is not a good one. So all you said is right. Except that it is has nothing to do with my post.

You should probably think about investing in gold and silver in these troubled times. Gold and silver can be a good hedge against economic volatility as long as you're not doing a leveraged trade. http://www.monexfraud.com You may wish to invest in the gold ETF (GLD) or the silver ETF (SLV) in a non-margin account. This is the least expensive way to invest. If you feel a need to to take delivery of your metals be extra cautious about who you buy from. Check the Better Business Bureau for complaints, ratings, and adviseries. Also check RipoffReport.com for complaints and read how or if they were handled.
