thinkprogress.org — ?Addressing about 100 wide-eyed Wyoming high school students learning about government and the political process,? Vice President Cheney yesterday repeated one of the key fabrications that helped send the United States into war.

<a class="user" href="http://digg.com/politics/Popular_Mechanics_OWNED">http://digg.com/politics/Popular_Mechanics_OWNED</a>"Professor David Ray Griffin is the nemesis of the official 9/11 conspiracy theory. In his latest book, Debunking 9/11 Debunking, Griffin destroys the credibility of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Popular Mechanics reports, annihilates his critics, and proves himself better scientist than the defeners of official story"So, hetman. What did you say again? "Troother"? Can't spell truth? Do you have to twist the word to hide yourself from it?

@screamthenrun, "you don't need to go back to 9/11... all you have to realize is that Al Quaida is in Iraq now.. and that we need to blow their brains out"hey chief, if you so keen on such work, why don't you head on over to your local recruiters office and sign on the dotted line... until such time, save your 'kill em all let god sort em out' tripe for church.

Yo, dickfor, I mean, @IslandDog, thinkprogress is a website, whose average daily audience is less than 1/10,000 of Fux'd unNews. Comparing the two is akin to suggesting the school yard bully's influence over the playground is the same as Cheney's hegemony over the truth.

WTF @wiggles, the story was originally reported by Wyoming's Star Tribune... thinkprogress merely dugg it up. Cheney's words are Cheney's words - he lied to kids... he lied to the press. no spin... Dick Cheney is a lying sack of s**t.Just today Dick was fingered, in written testimony submitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee, by former deputy attorney general James B. Comey as the authority behind pressuring John Ashcroft for the purpose of pursuing the warrantless surveillance program while John Ashcroft was extremely sick as a result of pancreatitous. Which both he and Bush, on camera, denied, on multiple occasions, to reporters the very existence of such a program.@wiggles, "You're as bad as a Fox news addict."Because....? And you know what about where I get my news? Your opinion is based on...?Look, kid, I'm not going to argue my point with you - your head is in the sand where it will remain until your flying harp dealer comes down out of the clouds, via his anti-grav emitting ray of light, lifting you and all your faithfully-stupid brethren out of your brand new Nike's. At which point, according to the fantasy y'all love to believe, fire breathing, scorpion tailed beasts with the head of a lion will be my, and the rest of us heathens, problem du jur.I'm not sure about the rest of those who agree with my points but, as a fan of the movie Star Ship Troopers, I like our odds...

@bigturnsI have no idea where you got your information about my views -- as far as I can tell I've said nothing other than I don't consider anything from thinkprogress.org as an unbiased source of news. You, on the other hand, seem to be drinking the left wing Cool Aid. You appear to believe anything they put on their site as gospel without checking their facts, despite the fact that they blatantly and unabashedly spin their stories, just like the idiot truthers who claim GWB blew up the World Trade Center. I'm not here to argue with you whether Cheney lied to kids or not, but what I will say is that anything from sites that put a blatant partisan spin on their news deserve to be in the opinion section, not in the news section. Their information is too tainted by their political views. Would you say anything different from something posted from some right wing site?Grow up and get some critical thinking skills. It's ironic that people of the same cloth as yourself will slam those with different political views as being sheep of the right wing media outlets, when they are simply sheep of a different color.

@wigglesyou said:"I buried this for the wrong topic -- any links from thinkprogress.org is political opinion, not political news. News comes from CNN, BBC, NPR, ABC, CBS, AP, Reuters, New York Times, etc, so on, and so forth -- not an unabashedly left leaning website like thinkprogress.org."I said: "the story was originally reported by Wyoming's Star Tribune... thinkprogress merely dugg it up."thinkprogress, no matter their 'spin' dugg up a story that should be echoed. your knee jerk reaction to thinkprogress didn't allow you to see the original thread hence my comment about your 'head in the sand'.you speak of critical thinking skills as if you know something about such yet I was able to look past the messenger to see the message. rather than weigh in on the issue you chose to play the part of the digg police (of which most digg users find little value in such efforts).i could care less which camp you're in - my views aren't bound by a given camp. if i made a mistake, it was, perhaps , to wrongly draw you as one of these jesus-camp fools who lurch around digg waiting to reclassify threads for the purpose of casting dispersions on the story.

@scootypuff I too am amazed these guys get the respect they do from people -- I guess a blue tie and having a side kick that grins like something is missing upstairs goes a long way in Washington among CONgress. Amazing to think we have a cheerleader, and a drunk running this country --- what in the world happened? It's like a Twilight Zone episode on steroids and about as wacky as Franz becoming the Governator. The not so hilarious part is seeing my friends get their brains blown out in Iraq. I've lost a great b-ball buddy two years ago, and recently my neighbors grandson.

@hittnrun,In other words, you are wrong and now you need to change the topic, because you really don't have a way to counter what I posted. Typical.....Getting back to the topic at hand, the same was done during the Kennedy tenure with the Cuban missile crisis, yet Kennedy was too smart to be fooled. Some tried and tried to pressure Kennedy into doing what would have led to WWIII, yet he didn't bite. I bet those that were upset at Kennedy for not biting are the very people you align yourself with today.
