news.yahoo.com — US Vice President Dick Cheney said that Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton could win the White House if she ran in 2008 and warned Republicans "nobody should underestimate her." "I think Hillary Clinton is a formidable candidate," Cheney told Fox television in an interview with just two weeks left before critical November 7 US legislative elections

It is so much more preferable to be scary over boring - scary means that you might actually stand for something that the electorate wants (or does not want) and the voters can make a decision from that.We elected to the Presidency (or didn't...) what a lot of people thought was some down-home, plain-speaking, have-a-beer-with kind of guy - y'know, kinda boring. What we actually received unleashed upon us a boiling red tide of death, destruction, corruption, lies, cronyism, neo-fascism, and the undercutting of the very foundations of this country. We didn't see the harm; he was just a good 'ol boy looking to get us back to basics, right? Well, you can't get more basic than rolling back law to pre-Magna Carta times, can you? It's all in the service of getting us into that New Feudal Age spirit! Let's go serfing now, everybody's learning how; come on a serf-ari with me!He-who-shall-not-be-named didn't scare most of us; that's how we let him do this to us. Candidates should scare us or excite us, just so we know where WE stand. The Bastard

@ aleahey>> How do you think Hitler got in to power?Because of stupid people like you, who demonise political opponents, without anything to back it up, so that the Nazi party remain in control and are able to become more and more of a dictatorship, like the GOP are trying to do?

lol, well, if it came down to it, voting for hillary would certain be the lesser of two evils, _by far_ (but then, it doesn't take much to look great in contrast with this administration, does it?... )But she would certainly not be my pick, and here's hoping that some proper Democratic candidate really takes the lead. I mean, seriously, lets take a look at the selection:Kerry - spineless, didn't even put up a fight against Bush, even with proof of election tampering. Very disappointing.Hillary - She's smart, but a complete dominatrix. With an unlikable personality, plus her support of many of Bush's controversial policies and the war in Iraq, makes her very undesirable IMO.Leiberman - Living a lie. He's a Republican in sheep's skin. What an idiot.Al Gore - Intelligent, smart and a good example of Democratic values. Would probably be the best president since Bill Clinton, but Republicans have some crazed, suppressed-homosexuality hatred towards him, so I don't think he is willing to go through all that again and have to face being publicly raped.Howard Dean - Good candidate, but a little too outspoken, so it's too easy for Republicans to twist his words against him.Carol Moseley Braun - Could be good, hmm....John Edwards - Comes across as a wimp, of the same sort like G Bush Sr. But his ideas are sound.etc etc...Anyone else want to contribute to this list? (And please, no neo-con FoxNews crap... intelligent contributions please)The thing with this GOP is that you have to fight fire with fire, and I don't know if any democrat has that quality...

Cheney is endorsing Clinton because he wants the DNC to endorse her; The GOP has a huge piece of dirt on her that the DNC doesn't know about: She has a vagina.Apparently vagina's are a sign of God's mistrust of Woman for tricking gullable but honest Man into eating the Fruit from the Tree.
