I wonder if fallen tree branches and other yard waste could be used. What about used paper? I don't think we need to cut down rain forest. At least I could plant 10 trees in my yard. I can't plant gasoline.

The facility will produce millions of gallons of biofuel per year. They are already preparing to use algae to fuel the facility.

That is because we have an energy crisis - check out zymetis website - for info - am i alone here?? I wish uneducated people would also refuse to stop yapping. The problem with new biofuels is that people don't understand them because they don't take any time to do research - fine don't understand, but stop spreading disinformation - pleaseeeee!!! Big oil must be laughing their ass off. How can we demand clean energy if we don't understand it. If you don't know admit it and start learning.

When edison was workin on the light bulb he was laughed at. Edison himself laughed at AC current saying that is was too dangerous. Threre are a million other examples of change being laughed at but cellulosic ethanol (ceetol) is now PROVEN so it's only a matter of time before the idiots stop laughing and start using. It's a pity that those who laugh at progress don't have to sign up to exclued themselves from using that particular item. If edisons relatives could not use AC they would be pretty screwed! If those who laughed at Edison couldn't use light bulbs they would be up the creek. Anyway this seems to be a repeated pattern but Ceetol I am pretty sure is going to be huge!!

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF WE COULD PRODUCE ETHANOL FROM NO CROPS?? WITH NO HEAT?? We can its called BACTRANOL - Bacterial Trnasformation Ethanol - and the bacteria strain is Saccharophagus Degredans which breaks down WASTE into ethanol. We can turn our municiple waste dumps into ethanol factories- What do you think?
