pcworld.com — It's a fact of life that sooner or later, every laptop battery hits old age. Most do well for between 18 and 36 months, depending on how heavily they're used. Then they slip into a slow decline and lose the ability to take a full charge.

don't get a dell in general. most people i know get the cheap dells, the computer works ok for about 2 years, then it "magically" starts to slow down with no hint of spyware or viruses. even after a defrag still the damn thing moves at a snails pace.

Lithium ion batteries lose their capacity over time, especially when running hot / fully charged. If you're not going to use your laptop / ipod / whatever for a while leave the battery half charged, it'll last longer that way.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium-ion_battery#G ...

WOW, as if Ebay was the source of batteries and not the particular vendors selling on there. If you buy from a good seller, you're fine. Ebay is not the problem, but the crappy vendors you may get on there.

I'll choose the cheap replacement one ,because i don't think a cheap replacement battery pack a risky deal, some business company willing give the customer a satisfied service though their battery are not very good for every item. They also look forward to get well day by day.If you believe that, please support this site: http://www.battery-info.net
