Damn straight.....see how easy that was? Americans realize that distorting religion for political purposes is about the most manipulative, cynical maneuver possible for public figures. It shouldn't be that hard to say: no. This is unacceptable.
Not to mention even if it was written by Josephus it was at least 60 years after Jesus' "death", so is no more accurate than stories about Robin Hood or King Arthur. If you someone wants to prove Jesus is real, you need contemporary documentation, of which there is none. I find it hard to believe that a Roman Prefect would order the execution of a citizen and not document it. Find that documentation and you have proof.
Self absorbed, one diminesional, tunnel visioned - is your whole world wrapped up in Ron Paul. Do you have a life? What did you do before Ron Paul came into your little world? Get out more. Read a book. Listen to some music, for Heavens' Sake!
Actually, the verse was referring to the pharisees and sadjucees (sp.) in the Temple who would pray out loud for everyone to hear how holy they were. Jesus was certainly not referring to "actors", at least in the literal sense. So the verse is speaking about praying in public for the gain of your own stature. Any commentary will tell you the same. The Bible also speaks of making disciples of all nations. That's hard to do if you never talk about your beliefs...which is why your "history and theology lesson" is off the mark.

No, you're right. We just have some over-excited media analysts, and you-know-who supporters.
