nasa.gov — Instruments on NASA's Cassini spacecraft have found evidence for seas, likely filled with liquid methane or ethane, in the high northern latitudes of Saturn's moon Titan. One such feature is larger than any of the Great Lakes of North America and is about the same size as several seas on Earth.

I don't know about the temperature thing, I mean there are fish on earth with anti-freeze pumping through their veins. (OK not exactly as I describe.) But we constantly discover creatures living in conditions we did not believe anything could survive in.I believe that everything is relative, seeing things that way I can come to cope with the fact that life may potentially exist in any condition should it evolve suitably. Enough of anything allows for anything else, what a creature needs to survive extreme temperatures is extreme protection, is it really -that- hard to believe? The only thing that I can see which -actually- matters is the amount of time it would take for such a creature to evolve or come to be. Everything is only a matter of time.

Maybe life doesn't need water on other planets.

They say Titan has an atmosphere full of methane, and now liquid methane lakes. Doesn't this mean Titan is basically a gigantic bomb? What if our space probe made contact with the planet's atmosphere and the friction ignited the entire atmosphere and caused the entire planet to explode?
