I've never understood what preheat means. Heat before heating? Shouldn't it be "Heat the oven to"?

Sagan didnt serve in Fire service .. If U heat the pan this way we'll get a Big Bang soon 9with sonic boom ) & find Urself in hospital .. may be eye-hospital too .. U'll see Stars Galaxies in daylite too ! thats what Sagan ays !
