This is really exciting news. They got the policy exactly right and hopefully this will accelerate innovation very soon. What I don't understand is why the incumbents didn't see the writing on the wall ages ago and adjusted their pricing strategies to appear a little less (ahem) evil.

Now if they will just allow non-Canadian providers to bid on this spectrum and actually have some true competition in Canada's wireless industry.
