Nice. I was excited to see what would come up since I clicked that I would like "One Click install Applications." Of course 99% of the distros it suggested failed that criteria. Not that I expected much... I've complained about it since Redhat 5.2... I install a distro or 2 every year just to see what has changed.... this one thing has never been agreed upon by the distro's and standardized.
I am a SUSE User and answered all questions honestly. It gave me Debian and no SUSE.I guess if one click on "Distribution has to be free", they sort out SUSE, but there is an open source Version of SUSE Linux in the meantime.
I seem to be the perfect target for this site:1. wanted to get back into unix/linux2. had a p3 something or other in the garage, literally next to an engine3. wanted 2 different distros: 1 to learn on, one to build a server from4. Scored PCLinuxOS-- result transfered the old files from the garage machine to my xp box faster and easier than using my new laptop and 2000. I am impressed to say the least.5.Next to builld a server on some other distro (after the appropriate learning curve that is)Digg and this site got me on Unix, now if I can find a Unix OBDII reader, I will do the laptop.

I've seen things like this before, but this was much more indepth and has a much cleaner interface.

Gave me Metis as the main choice and Debian/Ubuntu/Kubuntu as secondary choices. Dunno about Metis, but I use Ubuntu on my other laptop. Dugg.
