rushlimbaugh.com — With the current 'controversy' of Alberto Gonzales making a number of Federal Attorneys step-down, the question arises, "Can the administration fire Federal Attorneys on a whim?" With very little investigating, we can find that President Bill CLinton actually fired all 93 when he became president! Why wasn't that 'scandal' a 'controversy' too?

Every time Democrats get on their moral high horse, they get bucked off. I'm just tired of it, and as the buckees, I can't understand why they aren't.

WRONG. Clinton never fired a single attorney. He replaced them after their terms expired which is a completely different animal than firing them without cause. As a corollary, almost all US presidents replace Supreme Court justices after they leave, and they always pick someone who (they hope) supports them. But a US President has NEVER fired a Supreme Court justice. of course, they aren't allowed to, but you get the idea. Replacing someone is completely different than firing someone.

At least we have a horse. The Republicans are supposed to be the moral party, what with all their preaching about the sanctity of life (American lives, not foreign ones obviously), abortion and family values, and yet they haven't had a horse in years.
