online.wsj.com — FTA: I don't typically watch Oprah. But I won't miss Monday's interview with Sarah Palin. The appearance is supposed to be about Ms. Palin's new memoir, but a lot more will be riding on the encounter than book sales... Her poll numbers among independents are strong enough to give her a chance.

Not categorically impossible, but I DO have to wonder if the real intellectual firepower is there.

"It was simply a colloquial way of saying how close Russia is to Alaska."well mexico is even closer to me than russia is to her, does that qualify me for vice president? Should i be a diplomat?

The Kevin & Bean Show, where that joke came from, tried to buy that site, but because people kept saying it and going to it, the website owner wouldn't sell it for no less than $500,000. Before they started saying it, it was worthless. Kinda funny.

@JoeyFarahWell, as far as the political breakdown of the list, that requires more research than I'm willing to do. I'll concede that there may have been some Republicans attacking her, because she stepped on some Republicans toes as well during her tenure.I do see a lot of those as "dismissed" or "unwarranted". My original point stands, that the FOIA requests are an abuse of the system and a politically-motivated attack on Sarah Palin.@DipsomaniacYou're calling a well-research WSJ article a lie, and yet you offer no evidence to the contrary. Yes, you're totally credible./rollseyes

I think the major benefits of a Palin Presidential run would go to a relatively small group of TV comedy writers, but if I were one of 'em, she'd already have my check.
