Since when is the question of whether generated tax revenues would increase something to consider when considering whether something should be legal or not?

OUTSOURCING CLEAN GREEN JOBS IS PURE INSANITY! GOT HEMP??http://digg.com/political_opinion/Got_Hemp
This is a no brainer. Of course a new cash crop can help an economy... just listen to the question... why even ask it. The gigantic waste of time and money, by the FDA and DEA, to stop people from buying, growing, and selling this plant, is far larger of a gamble, than it would ever be, to let people do what they want, with a plant. It's ok for Doc. to prescribe a pill he would never take, and knows little about... but I cant grow a plant and smoke it??

What exactly do you mean by "supposed medical reasons?" Do you deny that cannabis is a safe and effective treatment for certain ailments? Watch this video and then try and deny cannabis' medicinal value... You won't have a leg to stand on.http://digg.com/health/In_Pot_We_Trust_4
