huffingtonpost.com — For roughly an hour and a half, Obama lectured GOP leaders and, in a protracted, nationally-televised question-and-answer session, deflected their policy critiques, corrected their misstatements and scolded them for playing petty politics. So effective was the president that Fox News cut away from the broadcast 20 minutes before it ended.

What debate? Firstly, your "facts" are mostly inaccurate. Not making good on his promises? He apologized for that, but did point out that 90% of it was televised - the only times it wasn't was when there were multiple meetings going on at once, so only one of them could be broadcast.Isolating people to save face? What? He just invited them all to work with him - but also to understand that working with him doesn't mean that he'll automatically accept their advice as a commandment to go with a specific action; he'll check with experts, and try to wind the best course possible out of all the options he gets.Blame bush? Seriously? A LOT of the blaming going on here was saying "OMG! Look at how many jobs were lost!" - most of which were lost before any of his (or any other president who might have been elected) policies could even go into effect. As soon as people stop blaming him for stuff that happened before he was even sworn in, he'll start taking responsibility for it.Continuously blaming the prior president shows that he's in over his head and doesn't know what's going on? You, sir, are dead wrong on that. As soon as people stop blaming him for things that aren't his responsibility, he'll stop answering that criticism. So please, contact your congress critter and tell them to get to work instead of f**king around.

The Fox viewer-ship is accustomed to listening to the sound of dripping bulls**t, why would they care about a dripping faucet?

Wait a minute.. just because the president decides to give a 1 1/2 hour long speech Fox News is REQUIRED to show it in its entirety? You have at least 5 other stations that are playing it on top of live streaming broadcasts on the internet. Anyone who watches Fox News has multiple options to listen to his speech, so of course Fox News is going to play what its viewers want. Has our society gone so far down the tubes that we have to nitpick about people having to turn change the damn station or go online? LOL.. I'm glad YOU admit that you are too lazy to find news on the internet or on another TV station. Why does everyone bitch about Fox News? Because they call themselves NEWS. But I don't need you or anyone else to tell me whether they are news or not. Its up to the viewer. I can call myself Brad Pitt all I want, but sooner or later I have to deal with the fact that people can make up their own damn mind about who or what I am. I don't need to hear people cry about it.

If BS answers includes reminding Republican they inherited 200Billion surplus and left trillions in deficit then you must be really duped and got your head buried in Sahara desert. He showed them how to think on their feet and can't remember Bush doing any of that! I am sure you are the type who think he needs a teleprompter in order to make a speech. Watch the budget balance under, war end and America get back to work under Obama rule

I used to like them-- until bush came to power.. But i still was a republican-- until Obama ran for president. In 2008 I changed my political affiliation from a republican to an independent. And you are right, I HATE Sarah's views and her hypocrisy. I like her though.. she is hot! I dont like Fox news because it is not a news channel.. it is a Point of View Channel.
