I agree telecommuting is a great idea. With all the accessablility of computers and the internet, if you job doesn't require you to be hands on, why not. I never said build more highways, what first needs to be done (as San Fransisco has the BART, trolleys, is bike friendly, etc), is for the government to build a decent mass transit out here in Los Angeles. When you have car pool lanes taking up to 25% of the freeway and only 20% of the drivers using them, a new solution needs to be created. Such as light rail where the freeways are, the infrastructure is all ready there, the freeways go to every part of Los Angeles...I wish I knew how to get it done but, I am just a computer guy behind a desk....
