Your absolutely right, I failed to detect your sarcasm. Depending on the subject and content of the comment, you might need to be a little more obvious with your sarcasm next time. My mistake. Also, even though it should just be legalized fully, a good majority of people, including myself, see no farce in medicinal marijuana. It has some amazing medicinal properties, challenging other legal medications that have absurd, extreme, and often fatal side effects.Another thing, its already being taxed. The taxes are included in your "donation" (legally they cannot "sell" the medicine, which would imply profit). The collectives/dispensaries are paying the taxes....not the patients. Just like the major pharmaceutical companies pay taxes (although the pharmaceutical companies have some of the biggest tax breaks of any industry). The original comment is a pretty common argument made by anti-legalization retards, and it usually triggers an automatic response from myself. And on that note......Just blaze.

@dbixler I actually go into this in my comment thread. I'll paste it for yaIt's already being taxed. The taxes are included in your "donation" (legally they cannot "sell" the medicine, which would imply profit). The collectives/dispensaries are paying the taxes....not the patients. Just like the major pharmaceutical companies pay taxes. The taxes are payed on the distributor/manufacturer end, not by the patients (although the pharmaceutical companies have some of the biggest tax breaks of any industry). If it's ever legalized, then recreational users would pay taxes in addition to the manufacturers/distributors. Patients with prescriptions would be exempt from the taxes (I'm assuming). This would be a difficult thing to regulate now that I think about it. The co-ops and clubs would need to employ a system that would assist them on sorting the medicinal users from the recreational ones. Or maybe they would be separate locations all together.

Go spend some time in a cancer rehab center. I'll bet that everyone you'll see there is using it medicinally. You can't take a COLLEGE DORM and think that's a good representative cross section of society.

Now just imagine how much you could collect if this was a federal policy... a tiny dent in that national debt, maybe, but a good start!

I'd say that it'd be more than 2b if it was legalized. Oh, and none of what you just said makes any sense, can I have some weed?

Personally, I don't smoke anything because of asthma but I believe they should legalize marijuana.
