divinecaroline.com — It has long been thought that coffee and other caffeine-containing beverages are dehydrating and don’t count toward your daily fluid intake. Most of us know that caffeine is a diuretic (it makes us have to go pee), but does it deplete our bodily fluids?

Obviously, it can't be true otherwise the millions of people who drink nothing but caffeinated beverages day after day would all die of dehydration.

Time to examine the effects of carbonated beverages now. It is nice that this article says that there are benefits but doesn't get into any of the powerful antioxidant properties associated with caffeinated beverages. I have had the feeling for a long while that moderate caffeine consumption would be good for you... Now where moderate lies is the question.

there's actually not much wrong with quite a few energy drinks. most are just amino acids, vitamins, sugar and caffeine.

Nurse: Did you drink lots of fluids yesterday?Me: Yes, I drank lots of sodaNurse: Soda is a diaretic, like coffee. It dehydrates you. You fail.Me: But how can something that is 99.9% water dehydrate you? That doesn't make any sense. It totally cured my thirst.Nurse: It just does, trust me.Me: Umm, I don't think I do. I don't feel dehydrated. I think you are wrong.Nurse: Um, no.Fast forward 10 years to me reading this digg article.Me: See? Common sense prevails. In your face bitch!

Well of course a diuretic will dehydrate you - your body uses water in almost every process. Elimination of toxins and waste substances is primarily done via water and anti oxidation (through the use of Hydrogen, which is the most powerful antioxidant, that makes up 2/3 of water). We are born 90% water, and we slowly dehydrate and oxidize through time until we die at 50% hydration. To learn more about the importance of water visit http://www.flantech.info/crystalenergy

Caffeine?addictionIn this?article, we are going to discuss the importance of caffeine addiction and the?most important facts ictions in the world, just like?cocaine and marihuana. Caffeine addiction sometimabout it, as caffeine addiction is something we all must?prevent in order for us to be healthy and stay that way for years. We are also?going to mention some significant facts about caffeine effects and how caffeine?effects may affect our body performance considerably.Caffeine?addiction is one of the most famous types of addes has been considered a lie,?but it is a really, because caffeine is a stimulant that becomes addictive?within a certain period of time. Interestingly, caffeine addiction shows up?when you are not expecting it, and it does not necessarily show up because we?want to. Pure caffeine is, chemically speaking, a plant-based alkaloid that stimulates the central nervous system in any living creature that intakes it. Biologically, caffeine serves as a form of pest control for certain plants like cacao trees, coffee shrubs, yuba mate and tea trees; it causes insects and other pests to fall down from the effects of over-stimulation. So, just like those pests and insects that I mentioned, caffeine also produces stimulation in our central nervous system, which usually makes us feel more energized, invigorating and active. There is something called caffeine withdrawal, which refers to the sudden denial of us to consume caffeine, and it happens when regular consumers of caffeinated products may experience painful headaches if the body is denied caffeine. These headaches are caused by excess blood gathering in the area around the brain and sinus cavities, so without the stimulation provided by caffeine, the blood vessels shrink, restricting the blood flow. The traditional cure for caffeine withdrawal is to ingest more caffeine, which is not a healthy solution and this is also why many headache medications contain small amounts of caffeine. You can?more information for the Caffeine addiction in: http://yourcaffeineaddiction.com/

Mocha! Chocolate + coffee, now you have the nectar of the gods. I think coffee is how I get my 8 servings of water a day. Okay maybe not my entire water intake, but close enough.

Same here. We take turns making the coffee or setting the coffee maker the night before. If my husband forgets he knows he will pay for it - big time. Coffee is literally the highlight of each and every morning for me. I wouldn't mess with me if I haven't had it.
