I wish the article would have commented on the upload and download rates. I imagine that the 50Mbps is total through put. The article also failed to mention the setup costs for the user, monthly charge, etc... Anybody who knows where to find more information, please post it. When are they going to implement it in Saint Louis, that's what I want to know.

I've got Optimum Online right now, and my speed allows me to download MBs/sec at times... I can't imagine how fast this will be, but i'm glad i have cablevision in jersey... only a matter of time!

I'm on Long Island, about 15 minutes from Oyster Bay. Been using Optimum Online (Cablevision) since it was available, about 6 years ago. The service has always been good with fast speeds and uptimes, but their cap on uploading has gotten worse. Price now is $44.95 Month.
