flickr.com— Seems like somebody spilled the beans on what is in the next update. The screenshot cleary show that both the editor and preview window will get tabs.

If you are on Windows, the best CSS editor that I have seen on that platform is StyleMaster.<a class="user" href="http://www.westciv.com/style_master/">http://www.westciv.com/style_master/</a>It's not CSSEdit, but it's pretty good.As for the aforementioned app, you will have your proof next week. I'd love to say more, but I'm sworn to secrecy and the whole NDA thing. And to the references of skEdit... skEdit has been my preferred HTML editor for the last year. Unfortunately, since the developer started working at Apple, skEdit development has slowed to a crawl. I'm hoping Sean is able to devote some more time to skEdit in the future, because it is still a good, rock solid HTML editing app.But come next week, the whole game for Mac web editors/IDEs is going to change.
@ redavni,It isn't about which app have "plenty more features." I think everyone will agree that PC counterpart almost always have more features over Mac counterpart however you have to remember that we'd pick lightweight and beautiful over bloated and ugly app anyday. That said, CSSEdit with tabs version is one of the few apps that perfected the tab design. Wait till you try the tabs in action :)
The best thing I've found that CSS Edit does is version control through their Milestone feature. Its such a lifesaver being able to revert back to a previous version. Its streets ahead of apps like Dreamweaver when it comes to CSS.

I love CSSEdit, but my main wish is that they could do some sort of dual Gecko/Webkit engine. Would make trouble shooting a hell of a lot easier.

Is there an alternative cssedit for windows? I'm stuck with DW and it's really pretty awful for what I want to do (which is basically css). Cheers.

skEdit does both. It has CSS code suggestion and completion.

Web Development is dead on windows, nothing on that platform comes close to Textmate + CSSEdit
