I really don't see any need for touch screen or multi touch. I doubt very much the new ipod will have a web browser or anything u need to type with so why would u need an upgrade to touch screen. It's just going to cost more and has no real functional advantage over a clickwheel on an ipod. I'd peffer to see something with a widescreen in an a bit more of a sturdy case than the ipod and have the cool anti scratch glass stuff the iphone has so I can ditch that slip case.Theirs no point complicating technology if it doesn't give any advantage. Plus how will I be able to skip tracks in my pocket with a touch screen ipod?

Where's the paranoia? Plus there *is* no news to report, only the probablility of future news.Wrong on both counts. Well done.

Oh I agree. I think the only thing worse are morons who spend a lot of time crusing stories on digg to put in pithy comments about technology they have no interest in...oh wait

Apparently, the final line of the final Beatles press release was "and the beat goes on". And with the addition of all the individual member's catalogs to the iTS, it's pretty likely that we're finally going to get the Beatles.

Build 9A527 released the other day still pretty buggy so its highly unlikely. (But its rounding up to be a very nice release, cant wait)
