Yes it is a form of force feedback, it shakes your fingers... my point is its not the force feedback that some people are thinking of in terms of joysticks or steering wheels pushing back on your hands

Serioously, Andreas1999 is right. The title makes it sound like the idea of force feedback in a controller is revolutionary. Since we know that low-end force feedback in controllers has been around since the nineties, it's not bad to assume that this is HIGH-END force feedback.

Things just keep getting better and better with the ol' revolution. This is going to kick serious butt.As to sillyrabbits question...its interesting because those who have seen the rev. controller they know it looks like a remote, so for a remote to have this is really cool.

The guy from Nintendo probably just meant "rumble",but still, I don't buy the "a gyroscope would cost too much much power" argument.A gyroscope only consumes power because of its own internal friction, not because it creates an opposing force.I mean, in theory, it IS possible to have a gyroscope that doesn't consume much power, providing the flywheel is quite big (so it doesn't have to rotate too fast) and the bearings used are good quality.I think that such a gyroscope would just make the controller too big and/or expensive though.
