As a liberal democrat I support almost nothing that Ron Paul believes in, but I still donated to the money bomb. Why? What he's doing for grassroots politics is good for America. He's making other candidates see that we respect someone who shies away from the corporate sponsorship and isn't afraid to be honest. He'll never win this election or poll well because a lot of his support comes from liberals approving of his character, but not his ideals.
FTA: But he said he was disappointed that his fundraising efforts -- not his policies -- had gained so much attention. So true. His policies should have gotten him some face time long before this huge money bomb did. That said, though, this is a great step forward in Ron Paul's campaign.
"I still donated to the money bomb. Why? What he's doing for grassroots politics is good for America"Exactly. And that is the reason I donated to Kucinich even though I will be voting for Paul.
