americablog.blogspot.com— With any luck, Maher will ask King onto Real Time and ask the old man just why, exactly, CNN felt the need to censor him.

Yea, if Fox hadn't published a book stating that he would indeed go off his meds for political purposes, no one would have instantly jumped to that conclusion. He brought it on himself and made it worse when he couldn't even explain the stem cell bill that he was promoting.
OK, so (as the article puts it) "Bill Maher outed GOP party chairman Ken Mehlman as gay on Larry King Live". Let me reiterate: Bill Maher said that Mr. Mehlman is gay. Based, apparently, on unsubstantiated rumor.Perhaps the statement was redacted by CNN because it legally constitutes slander?I don't know. I'm just pointing it out as a possibility.
Then it is Bill Maher who is liable, not CNN. Had Larry King said it, that would be a different story as he is an employee of CNN. Therefore, there is no basis for them to alter the clip. They are just a news organization broadcasting the news.
Please don't feed the Herkimer. If it came out next week that Clinton single-handedly saved the world from aliens (the space kind) during his term in the White House, people like Herk would still bash him every chance they got and hate him with unsubstantiated passion. He is at best at troll, at worst delusional.
