He says a lot of things I'm talking about HOW he says them. He's not a good public speaker and he has zero charisma. He seems nervous, he stutters, and he definitely doesn't capture the audience with his wit and charm.

I like I digg, I don't like I ignore. Am I a bad digger?

" Both his dry Yankee wit and his frugality with words became legendary. His wife, Grace Goodhue Coolidge, recounted that a young woman sitting next to Coolidge at a dinner party confided to him she had bet she could get at least three words of conversation from him. Without looking at her he quietly retorted, "You lose.""

Yeah Dawn, why don't you elaborate on his genious economic stance. No regulation of business, no taxes. Those are great if you have... no country. But we have a country, a union some may call it. We are not simply a collection of 50 independent governments. If we were, Ron Paul would be a great leader in any one of them, because his ideas are small time and work on a small scale.

Your absolutely right that standardized test are a plague on our education system, and that the beaurocracy is anything but beneficial to learning. The tests, however, are a somewhat recent development in the education system (really became prevalent in the past 20 years). I want to take it back to the old school. Let me elaborate. My parents, who are baby boomers, were the last generation of americans who tested at the top of the world. We are now ranked 26th in industrialized nations. Our system is failing our youth. Im not sure how to fix this. I am a scientist and I personally think rigorous science and math education, and not standardized testing, is the answer. My concern with leaving it over to the states is that, yes, some states may have excellent education that far exceeds what we have now. WhiIe this would be great for those students and that state, I think this would create a dichotomy in our society, in which the states with the most resources (natural and human), would have the best education, would then attract the best people, which would cause the states who couldn't afford to compete, to implode. Geographically, not all states, are equal, therefore the competition would only benefit the "wealthy states".

Even with his lack of air time he says substantially more than the other candidates about things that are relevant.
