cnn.com — Did you cancel your cable to rely exclusively on Bittorrent? Now you can get CNN's live feeds via the web, too. This is their big entree into live net distribution. They will reportedly offer four live feeds of various news events, with one weekday feed featuring a live news anchor exclusively on the web.

Why do all you guys want "neutral" news? I can't even begin to imagine what that would be. Just watch more than one source with a critical eye and realize that you're only seeing what the powers-that-be wish for you to see. Then read blogs, especially people who report on local happenings, etc and you will begin to see a full picture. Fox News is horribly biased, but I'm grateful for their slant because sometimes they will cover factual things that CNN won't because of said slant. Like someone else said, just remember that they're selling a product.

"Fox is a piece of s**t right wing bullhorn owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch. All they can do is follow CNN leads, which (biased or not) is the world's true news leader. CNN is available in 210 countries and terrorities... how many people actually watch Fox News outside middle America? Go figure."Check this link, it has a list of all the tv providers that carry fox news outside the US http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,77537,00.html

This just might work if I could get my favorite channels for $2 per month without paying the cable compnay for all those channels I DON'T want.

" ...while more idiots who never watched news at all before are watching Fox because it's entertaining."Ummm judging from your statement, I am afraid to ask what news source you go by. This is definitely not an intelligent statement and is devoid of facts. Perhaps more people flock to Fox because its the only non-liberal leaning news source on cable? How do you explain the fact that Fox is crushing CNN by a wide margin now? With all the other channels available, why would anyone tune into FOX for entertainment??Yes Fox News is bias but not anymore bias than CNN. I tend to think CNN is more bias to the left than FOX is to the right.

You don't have to ask, because I said right in the post you replied to. I used to browse CNN's headlines, and I've now moved away from that (partially because of bias) and aggregate news from Google News, AP, BBC, and some blogs on the left and right as warranted. They'd tune to Fox for entertainment because that's what Fox is. A network that puts Ann Coulter on as a serious commentator is not a news channel, I'm sorry.

Anyone found or created a website dedicated to getting this service for free... YET?

tried to sign up for a month to try it out but I couldnt even get as far as the payment page - gave message "Due to a problem with our system, we were unable to process your request.". Tried in both Firefox and IE but same result. Ah well. Doesnt bode well for the actual service! Not sure if I'd pay for the year, but for the sake of 3 USD it's worth trying out to see how far video streaming has come. PCMag's preview of Pipeline makes it sounds pretty neat. BTW for those that want to ensure they dont get charged beyond the first month, use something like a Cahoot Webcard - it gives you a disposable credit card (can only be charged once, then the card is made void) which you can cap too (this is UK btw but there's similar services in other countries).
