thinkprogress.org — So far, just 3 Republican candidates had agreed to participate in the Sept. 17 debate. Both Giuliani and Romney claimed that they had scheduling conflicts. Today, the Ron Paul campaign reported that CNN has postponed the debate.

I have never made a video or posted anything to youTube in the past. My first video will be made for the Republican youTube debate. I've already got a great question planned.

Honestly, can we stop calling these things debates? They are a cross between beauty pageants and joint press conferences were the sole purpose is to not look like a moron. And after seeing the Democrats CNN/Youtube "debate", I really can't blame most of the Republicans for not wanting to go up there and have a snowman ask an important question in such a stupid way. My God, these people are running for President of the United States. If anything I would like to have them take one really good question and hash that out for 90 minutes in an honest too God debate. Like what is the best way to make healthcare affordable? Or at what point is government regulation harmful to the economy and innovation, and what could be done about that? Not some game show format where the object is to see who the moderator can trip up.

Are you including Paul? If so, why and how? Nevermind, just saw.

This is just another case of bull****. I thought the You Tube/CNN Debate was awesome, and more democratic too. These people have to start answering to the American public, and it seems as though certain candidates have a problem with this format. It is after all, a very important debate. It’s very unfortunate that people have a problem with this format, but Americans need answers, all of which have been evaded by some.

What would you expect since democrats refuse to go on Fox News?
bushownzlibsJul 30, 2007
Sniveling cowards... they are unwilling to face the people. Their extreme left-wing fascist, free speech hating, ILLEGAL Alien loving ideology has divided the nation and they will again come up with the short end of the stick. It is no wonder that the Democrat Controlled Congress polls lower than Bush. Even the liberal leaders cannot compete with the "Bus**tler".

"Mitt Romney "I don't think the questions asked on the debate are presidential to respond""There's a good reason for this: Mitt Romney is more concerned about his image than his message, because he'll say just about anything to get elected. Ron Paul on the other hand is all about the message, which is sincere and consistent because it's what works. And that's why we love him.
