People still believed that this was supposed to drop crime rates and not infringe on your privacy rights and slowly turn England into a Gestapo State? I just hope these numbers can be used when fighting these illegal cameras coming to the United States.

In American cities across our country we have found out what DOES work to lower crime rates. Unfortunately, the ultra-liberal anti-gun crowds refuse to believe the facts:In states and cities where law-abiding citizens can legally carry concealed handguns for their own self-defense, crime drops from 13% to 35% across the board, based on annual FBI statistics. A perfect example of this is Pennsylvania, where the state enacted concealed-carry laws in 1999 - for all except Philly. The city feared a rise in crime, and so had state lawmakers exempt Philly residents from this opportunity. Across the state in 200 crime rates dropped substantially. in Philly, the ROSE by as much as 30%, for crimes including rape, in-home burglaries, murder and others.That is why 46 states have some form of Must-Issue concealed carry laws - and their crimes are down. Places like Chicago, Washington, DC and Baltimore do NOT have concealed carry as an option for their citizens and suffer under much higher rates of crime because of it.So, where the people carry guns, they are safer. CCTV cameras do nothing to prevent crime and little to solve them.
