Nothing like taking a hit on a beach on Spring Break and ending up with some hallucinations. I can't think of any good reason not to legalize pot, except maybe the health side effects of sucking smoke in your lungs. However, if you keep pot illegal on that basis you'd have to outlaw fried food, tobacco in all forms, soft drinks, alcohol and a variety of other "unhealthy" things people use.
@jjamminjon:I like how your 'free-thinking' ass nicely refuted vinod1978's arguments. You outright destroyed him there.@chinaman1212:Nice strawman you have there.
You sir are a f**king idiot and I mean that in the best possible way. Please reassure the nation that you are not procreating so that we can all sleep at night.
Pharmaceutical companies have over 1200 lobbyists for every politician in Washington, and spend well over 100 million dollars lobbying politicians. It's estimated that making marijuana illegal would cost them 20% of their business. These lobbyists are clearly hard at work making sure that marijuana stays prohibited.

Privatized prison industry and big alcohol companies would disagree.
