I think I remember some conservaitves using that argument against me back when I was protestign the enactment of the Patriot act. I'll bet they still think their right. It gets tiring, really.

Hey, if there was any evidence at all that the 8 US attorneys were fired for either over-zealously prosecuting Republicans or under-zealously prosecuting Democrats, then there might me an issue here. But there is absolutely no such evidence. Or even formal allegations from anyone other than liberal bloggers. There are real issues out there. This isn't one of them.

In court (as well as in impeachment proceedings) you have to actually prove your case. The standards of proof in a real legal proceeding are far higher than anything present *here*.
