Most spiders leave you alone. There are some dangerous ones that I could live without at least in the area that I live, but they get rid of the other bugs, like mosquitoes. God I hate mosquitoes. I'm just guessing here, but I bet more people die from mosquitoes and the diseases they carry than spiders.
anything with sudden jolting action and high creepy factor is a rational cause for phobia.i dont know why they should be having that many legs to begin with. i got two, i can live with that. sometimes, some things are just not enuf for some people and 'things'... sheesh
